The castle chapel, first mentioned in 1610, was also the parish church until 1983, before it was replaced in this function by the new building opposite. The building with a classic late baroque facade has a four-bay nave, a central choir and a stepped bell roof. The tower has clocks and an onion helmet.

The building east of the new parish church was originally a brewery, later a school, and has been a parsonage since 1981. The two-storey building with a gable roof was built in the 17th and 18th centuries. Built in the 19th century and restored in 1984.

The previous castle was built in the 13th century and rebuilt several times, especially in the 19th century. The complex consists of a keep, curtain wall with gate, residential building, kennel and castle chapel.

Burgstall located on the western slope of the Visnitz Gorge, also known locally as "Alt-Hagenberg". Today only very sparse wall remains are visible on the wooded rock spur.
