Plessis Castle is located near Autry-Issards in the Allier department in France .
history
The castle was added to the list of Monument historique on February 13, 1928 .
In 1553 Geoffroy Aubery became the owner. Paintings and carpets in the castle show his life with Gottfried von Bouillon .
architecture
The no longer existing drawbridge led into the interior between two towers that are still preserved. In the castle there is a square tower with a loop for archers and an inner passage with machicolations on the top of the southern stair tower. The corners of the house are equipped with supporting pillars in the form of watchtowers.
