Strelitz Castle

Strelitz Castle is a castle in Strzelce , Poland , located in the rural municipality of Chodzież in the Greater Poland Voivodeship .

The castle is on a nuns monastery back. The Strelitz estate was acquired by Christoph von Zacha in 1789. After severe fire damage in 1840, the building was rebuilt in neo-Gothic style by 1844 according to plans by Friedrich August Stüler . Before the First World War , the castle belonged to Count Thaddäus Morstin.
