Třemešek Castle

The Třemešek Castle (German Johrnsdorf Castle ) is located in the Králec district of the Dolní Studénky municipality in the Czech Republic .

The castle is located two and a half kilometers southeast of Šumperk on the left side of the Desná in the Schönberg basin at the northern foot of the Malínský vrch (491 m).

history

Instead of the village of Třemešek, which died out in the Bohemian-Hungarian war, Peter von Zierotin established the Johrnsdorf rule. In 1559 Peter Bukuvky von Bukuvka acquired the village. A renaissance festival was established around 1587. Under Jan Bukuvky (1587-1617) Johrnsdorf was raised to a free manor.

The castle was redesigned in the romantic style between 1857 and 1863 and defaced during renovations in the 1950s. Today the castle is a cultural monument. The portal is still preserved from the original building.
