The Schlossbergschule Rhoden is located in the Diemelstadt-Rhoden district of Waldeck-Frankenberg , Hesse . It is a primary, secondary and secondary school.

The school took part in the Internet ABC Schools project in the 2018/19 school year and has been able to use the Excellent Internet ABC School 2019 project seal since September 2019 . The project was developed by the Hessian State Authority for Private Broadcasting and New Media in cooperation with the Hessian Ministry of Culture and the Schule @ Zukunft media initiative . Only 106 of a total of 1,214 primary and special schools in Hesse were awarded the seal. In school operations, support is provided by a media educator and two specially trained teachers.

history

In 1967 the school started operations as the Rhoden Center School and was renamed the Rhoden Castle Mountain School in 2008 .

In the middle of the 2009/2010 school year, the former classrooms were converted into teachers' rooms . The school has 13 specialist rooms, 22 teachers' rooms, a cafeteria and a gym. In September 2019, the district approved one million euros for additional classrooms and specialist rooms in a new building.
