Swallowing ability
Swallowing capacity is a technical measure in hydraulic engineering and in foundries . The term denotes a volume performance or a volume flow , i.e. H. the dimensions are in volume per time ( cubic meters per second , m³ / s)
In hydraulic engineering, the unit of measurement is applied to:
- River and torrent cross-sections
- Water wheels
- Turbines / compressors
- pump
- Pipelines
- Rainwater inlets
- Inlet fountain .
In foundries, the term is synonymous with casting performance .
