Blacksmith Farm (2011)

The Schmiedbauerngut Seeham as a listed former farm in the center of Seeham has been used as a community center since 2012 after a revitalization.

The Schmiedbauerngut consists of a square brick two-storey house with a tent roof and the mighty stable at the rear in a free-standing location in the center of the village. The stone door wall of the front door of the house is marked 1842.

After an architecture competition, the architect Fritz Lorenz from Salzburg received 1st prize in 2004 and was commissioned with the revitalization. Since 2012 the former house has been used as a municipal office and the former stable for events and as a youth center. The open space was designed into a spacious village square, where the artist Peter Mairinger created a village fountain in 2006. In reminiscence of its earlier use as a farmhouse, a small farm garden was laid out in front of the municipal office.
