Snow vehicle

A snow vehicle is a means of transportation on ice, permafrost, and snow .

Essentially, one differentiates

• Slide , such as B. propeller sleds (Aerosani), horse sleds or racing sleds , and
• Tracked vehicles , such as snow groomers .

There are also mixed forms such as the snowmobile , which are equipped with runners for steering and a caterpillar chain for driving.
