Schneekoenig is a Swiss nu-jazz band that was influenced by Bugge Wesseltoft and St. Germain . The nearly ten year old jazz combo is led by keyboarder Jürg Schneebeli. She is known for her collaboration with leading Swiss and international jazz musicians, including the trumpeter Peter Schärli, who played on the album "Double Identity" (2004), and with Ray Anderson , on the album relaunch (2010). The line-up of the band at that time consisted of Juerg Schneebeli (keyboards, cybertools ), Felix Straumann (saxophone), Yves Michel (guitar), Thomas Blaettler (bass) and Roger Schmidt (drums). Schneekoenig has released five albums to date.
