Schoeller Junkmann Prize

The Schoeller Junkmann Prize ( own spelling : Schoeller Junkmann Prize ) is a science prize endowed with 10,000 euros which is awarded annually by the German Society for Endocrinology to outstanding scientists working in Europe who are not older than 40 years. Work in the field of clinical and experimental endocrinology (except diabetes and thyroid) will be taken into account. It was established by the Schering Foundation in 1966 in honor of the German scientists Walter Julius Viktor Schoeller and Karl Junkmann and sponsored until 2009. After the merger of Schering with Bayer, he will be supported by Ipsen Pharma (as of 2018) .
