Chocolate product

As a chocolate product ( English chocolate product , French produit de chocolat ) refers to types of chocolate and products derived therefrom. The term is sometimes used synonymously for cocoa products . The raw material is the cocoa beans from the fruits of the cocoa tree .

Legal Regulations

The Directive 2000/36 / EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 June 2000 relating to cocoa and chocolate products intended for human consumption for the Member States of the European Union regulates the ingredients and labeling of cocoa and chocolate products.
