The Schotosero ( Russian Шотозеро , Finnish Sotjärvi ) is a lake in the Republic of Karelia in northwestern Russia .
The Schotosero is about 30 km west of Petrozavodsk . The lake has an area of 74 km². The Shuja flows through it, which flows into Lake Onega .
