The Schottensee is a mountain lake in the Swiss canton of St. Gallen . It is located north of the Pizol summit at 2335 m above sea level. M. The Wildsee is a little above, the lakes are not connected above ground.
Its outflow feeds the Gafarrabach , a right tributary of the Seez . Some of the water is captured and directed into the Gigerwaldsee south of the Pizol, so that it flows into the Alpine Rhine .
