The house Schwanenmarkt 8 in Dusseldorf is a listed building by the Vagedes Successors Anton Schnitzler was built in 1836 in the style of classicism. It stands for the transition between two different classical currents; one was shaped by Adolph von Vagedes , the next by Anton Schnitzler - therefore it is considered a "typical example of the Vagedes successor [...] for the transition from the local tradition of Düsseldorf classicism, which was shaped by Vagedes, to the Berlin direction". The main facade is divided into three axes and shows Corinthian pilasters .
