Black Forest Guide

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A Black Forest Guide (SWG) is a specially trained nature guide in the Black Forest Central / North Nature Park who offers individual adventure tours.

The guides were trained from October 2003 by NABU together with the VHS and the nature park in two semesters. The first training courses took place as part of the Freudenstadt model project . At the end, the guides received a certificate from the Black Forest Central / North Nature Park . Black Forest guides are also certified as landscape and nature guides, recognized by the working group of state-sponsored educational institutions in nature and environmental protection (BANU).

The SWG should convey natural history topics to the guests and explain cultural landscape connections and thus ultimately make a contribution to promoting nature conservation in broad sections of the population. Among other things, they are trained in the areas of human-culture-landscape, but also experiential education and marketing . They also have a broad general knowledge.
