The SMV Swiss Tenants' Association (fr. ASLOCA Association suisse des locataires , it. ASI Associazione Svizzera Inquilini ) represents the interests of Swiss tenants at national level. It is constituted as an association and acts as the umbrella organization for the regional language associations: The Tenants' Association of German-speaking Switzerland (MVD), the Tenants' Association of Western Switzerland (ASLOCA) and the Tenants' Association of Ticino (ASI).

With a total of over 210,000 members, the association is one of the largest in Switzerland .

The local associations provide representatives for the cantonal arbitration boards and rental courts. These are composed equally of representatives from the tenant side and the landlord side.
