Natalie Imboden

Natalie Imboden (born September 4, 1970 ; resident in Täsch ) is a Swiss politician ( Greens ).

Life

Natalie Imboden grew up in the Upper Valais mountain village of Täsch. She went to Bern to study history , political science and constitutional law . Professionally, Imboden worked for many years in the trade union sector, between 2007 and 2018 as a trade union secretary for Unia . She has been General Secretary of the Swiss Tenants' Association since 2018 . In this function, she advocates affordable housing throughout Switzerland. Natalie Imboden lives with her partner and son in Bern.

politics

From 2001 to 2010 Imboden represented the Green Alliance in the Bern City Council (legislature). From 2001 to 2008 she was parliamentary group president and from 2006 to 2014 she was president of the Green Alliance of the city of Bern. Natalie Imboden has been a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern since 2010 and has been a member of the Finance Commission since 2012. She has been Co-President of the Green Canton of Bern since 2015 .

Since 2008 Natalie Imboden has been a member of the board of directors of the Swiss Accident Insurance Fund SUVA and since 2009 she has been a board member of the Swiss Advice Center for Accident Prevention BFU . Imboden has been a member of the board since 2009 and has been president of the tenants' association regional group Bern since 2014. Since 2015 she has been on the board of the Association of Members of the Canton of Bern. Natalie Imboden has been a board member at CONTACT Foundation for Addiction Aid since 2010 and on the board of Aidshilfe Bern since 2012 .
