Steiner & Madlaina is a Zurich duo of the two musicians Nora Steiner ( guitar , vocals ) and Madlaina Pollina (guitar, vocals, piano ). Her band also includes Leonardo Guadarrama ( drums ), Nico Sörensen ( bass ) and Max Kämmerling ( electric guitar ). Her music ranges between folk and pop music .
Discography
In September 2015 they released their first EP Ready to Climb , followed by their second EP Speak in November 2017 . Both appeared on the Zurich music label Lauter. They released their first album Cheers on the German label Glitterhouse in October 2018. It contains ten songs in German, English and Swiss German .
Private life
Madlaina Pollina comes from a musical family: Her father is the Italian-born Swiss cantautore Pippo Pollina , her brother Julian Pollina is known as the singer Faber . Nora Steiner and Madlaina Pollina met at school.
