Finsing floating debris museum
The Schwemmgutmuseum Finsing is a museum near Neufinsing in the Erding district in Bavaria .
Location and exhibits
It is probably the only museum in which alluvial debris is exhibited. It is located in the building of the Finsing power plant and was opened in 1999. It is open after appointment by telephone. In three rooms of the Finsing floating debris museum, objects are exhibited that were collected in the rakes of the run-of-river power plants in the area around Munich .
These include curiosities such as messages in a bottle , children's toys or broken safes . The museum would like to draw attention to the problem of the throwaway society .
