Schwend (Nainhof-Hohenfels)
Schwend was a Bavarian hamlet that belonged to the dissolved municipality of Nainhof-Hohenfels , Parsberg district .
The Schwend desert is located on the grounds of the Hohenfels military training area , which was built between 1938 and 1940 and expanded after the end of the Second World War . The residents of Schwend were resettled and the Nainhof-Hohenfels community became extinct. The uninhabited place now serves as a so-called "practice village".
