Rijsoort en Strevelshoek was a municipality that only existed for barely ten years. It was in the Dutch province of South Holland . It was formed on January 1, 1846 by the union of the two communities Rijsoort and Strevelshoek . On September 1, 1855, it was incorporated into Ridderkerk .
