Schwieberdinger contract

The Schwieberdinger Treaty was a peace treaty with which the Duchy of Württemberg bought a rest from the troops of France through the French Marshal Villars for one million guilders during the War of the Spanish Succession .

The contract was signed on June 6, 1707 in the small town of Schwieberdingen in Strohgäu , north of the Württemberg residence in Stuttgart .
