Swimmingpool & Sauna is a German special interest magazine for swimming pools , whirlpools , saunas and wellness . It has been published every two months since 1968 by Fachschriften-Verlag in Fellbach . The target group are homeowners and builders who are involved in the installation of swimming pools, whirlpools, saunas, steam baths or complete wellness systems or who already own a system and are planning a renovation or expansion.
According to the company, swimming pools and saunas are Europe's largest magazine for swimming pools, whirlpools, saunas and wellness.
A good half of the print run of 30,000 copies is sold as individual issues through magazine dealers in German-speaking countries. The other half of the circulation goes to subscribers or as free copies to swimming pool dealers, wellness hotels and prefabricated house exhibitions. Around 10 percent of the circulation is distributed via the European swimming pool and wellness fairs or used as free pieces.
Trade journals
BäderBau - public & hotel
"BäderBau" is the trade journal of "Schwimmbad & Sauna" for the area of public pools and hotel pools. The title appears four times a year and is aimed at operators of public pools and adventure centers as well as hoteliers. The readership includes planners and architecture firms. "BäderBau" shows concepts from the planning to the implementation of complete swimming and wellness facilities and their implementation. The magazine also publishes market overviews, advice pages on technology and reports on design. The print run comprises 6,000 copies.
natural pools
In 2009 “naturpools” appeared for the first time. The magazine shows private and public natural swimming ponds and natural pools. The title appeared twice in 2010, in April and September. The circulation is 20,000 copies and is mainly distributed through the magazine trade.
International editions
In addition to the German edition, there are licensed editions through collaborations with Eastern European publishers. They are partly identical in content and have a total print run of 90,000 copies.
