Scott McGehee
Scott McGehee (born April 20, 1962 in Orange County , California ) is an American screenwriter and film director who directs all films with his friend David Siegel.

The filmmakers created the short films Birds Past and Speak Then Persephone in 1989 and 1990 . Their full-length debut, Suture , was nominated for the Independent Spirit Awards 1995 and won at the Sitges Festival Internacional de Cinema Fantàstic de Catalunya ; since then they have been firmly established in the auteur film scene . This was followed by Deep End , a remake of Max Ophüls ' hush money for love letters and The Letter Princess based on a novel by Myla Goldberg about a Jewish girl who takes part in spelling competitions. But he got rather mediocre reviews. Also Uncertainty was discussed not positive, but it was by far the most successful strips. Only the luck of the big things meant the breakthrough in the criticism.
