Sculpture in the Parklands is a sculpture park in County Offaly , Ireland .
history
The first works of art were created in 2002 during the Lough Boora International Sculpture Symposium , in which eight Irish and international Land Art artists took part. Every year the collection was expanded to include several works.
The sculpture park has an area of 20 hectares and is one of five attractions on the 2000 hectare Lough Boora Parklands , a moorland. The other tourist attractions are Finnamore Lakes , Turraun Wetlands , Mesolithic Site, and Cloghan Wetlands .
