The Seaview Golf Club is a golf and leisure complex in Virginia, Montserrado County . It is located about 10 kilometers as the crow flies north of the city center of Monrovia , the capital of the West African Republic of Liberia . The facility was built in the 1970s on a swamp and meadow area adjacent to the Hotel Africa at the mouth of the Saint Paul River . The official operator is the Liberia Golf Association (LGA).
The golf course is currently used as a recreational facility for Camp Clara , which was set up by the Irish UN Mission in Liberia , and employees of the Liberian government and foreign business people and diplomats are also represented.
Another golf course in Liberia is on the premises of the Firestone Plantation near Harbel in Margibi County .
