Sebastian Helbig (born April 25, 1977 in Gotha ) is a German football player .

Helbig played a total of 65 games in the Bundesliga , where he scored eight goals for FC Energie Cottbus. In the 2nd Bundesliga he played 146 games and scored 20 goals. In the DFB Cup he was used eight times and scored two goals.

In 1997 Sebastian Helbig became German runner-up with Bayer 04 Leverkusen .

After his professional career, the striker played over a hundred times in the sixth class Saxony league .
