Sebastian Prüßmann

Sebastian Prüßmann (born September 5, 1980 in Leverkusen ) is a German chef .

Career

After completing his training, Prüßmann switched to star gastronomy in 2002 at the Victorian restaurant in Düsseldorf, in 2004 to the Hugenpoet castle hotel in Essen and to the La Vision restaurant in the Hotel Wasserturm in Cologne. In 2006 he cooked in Portugal and Switzerland. In 2007 he moved to the Dieter Müller restaurant (three Michelin stars) in the Schlosshotel Lerbach in Bergisch Gladbach .

In 2010 he became head chef at the Brasserie Coq au Vin in the Schlosshotel Lerbach . In 2011 he went to the Villa Hammerschmiede in Pfinztal as head chef . The restaurant has been awarded a Michelin star. Since mid-2013 he has been kitchen director at the Hotel am Schlossgarten in Stuttgart . His Schlossgarten restaurant was awarded a Michelin star in 2013. In mid-2014 he moved to the Zirbelstube in the same hotel , which was also awarded a Michelin star in 2014.

In April 2017, Sebastian Prüßmann moved to the Villa Rothschild in Königstein, where he implements a concept of "Paleo cuisine with Ayurvedic accents".
