Cesarean section
Caesarean section ( Latin for "incision") is a medical term for several surgical techniques :
- Sectio alta - a "high bladder incision" to open theurinary bladderwhile protecting theperitoneum
- Sectio caesarea (Latin for "Caesarean section") - Caesarean section, in which the child is surgically removed from the mother's stomach
- Sectio parva abdominalis - anabdominalopening of theuterus("hysterotomy")carried outfor the purpose ofabortion
- Sectio vaginalis - a vaginal incision ("vaginal caesarean section") for surgical delivery
As cesarean section legalis (, legally valid section ') is defined as the post-mortem examination or "mortem", that is the court or official inspection of a body with the aim to clarify the leading to death circumstances.
The Sectio chirurgica (“surgical incision”) is a course offered by the University of Tübingen for medical students that shows surgical techniques and streams them live on the Internet.
