Securitas Germany is a subsidiary of the Swedish security group Securitas AB , which operates in Germany .
The logo consists of three red dots on a black background. Securitas Germany has around 21,500 employees at 120 locations and achieved a turnover of almost 912 million euros in 2019. The seat of the main office is in Düsseldorf.
The three main divisions of the company are specialized security services , mobile services and technical security systems.
history
1934 is considered to be the founding date of Securitas AB, when Erik Philipp-Sörensen acquired a security service in Helsingborg . Securitas Germany goes back to the "Werkschutz-Institut Helmut Sczesny" founded in 1964. From this company, the "Werkschutz GmbH Frankfurt" emerged in 1970, later the "Werkschutz-Gruppe Frankfurt". In 1993 this group of companies was renamed into a stock corporation, the "Deutsche Sicherheits AG". The takeover by Securitas AB took place in 1998.
The "Münchener Wach- und lock company", which was founded in 1902 as one of the first security companies in Germany, also became part of the Securitas group in 1998.
Business areas in detail
Securitas Germany offers all classic security services as well as newer developments, supplemented by tested technical components. In addition to the private sector, clients are primarily chemical and pharmaceutical companies, banks, industry, trade, the aviation sector and various local authorities.
The business areas are: Security solutions for private, public, finance and health care, retail, energy supply, aviation and special events.
In terms of mobile services, Securitas offers sector-specific area controls, interventions as well as unlocking and locking services for small and medium-sized companies. Securitas also offers alarm systems and surveillance for SMEs , individuals and homes .
In the emergency call and service control centers, operators monitor more than 100,000 objects, 50,000 hazard alarm systems and 3,000 emergency and fault messages nationwide around the clock. They also check alarm messages from video surveillance systems with analysis software and arrange intervention in the event of an emergency.
