Security (fair)
The Security in Essen is the world's largest trade fair for security and fire protection technology . It has taken place every two years in October at the Essen exhibition center since 1974 . In 2010 there were 1,078 exhibitors from 38 countries. presents its products and services to over 40,000 trade visitors on approx. 73,000 m² .
In 2012, the fair did not take place in October, but for the first time from 25–28. September. At the 20th Security, more than 1,100 exhibitors presented the latest technologies and current trends on over 80,000 m² of exhibition space.
Forty years after the first security fair, Security is expecting over 1,000 exhibitors from 40 nations and trade visitors from 115 countries from September 23 to 26, 2014.
