The Hinterm Horn lake is a bathing lake in the Allermöhe district of Hamburg and is located between the A25 motorway and the Dove Elbe .
The lake is located in a former gravel mining area and was created by gravel. It was not there in the 1950s. Access to the lake is possible via the Allermöher dike. Since the lake is fed by groundwater , the water is particularly clear. Bathers can use a sandy beach with an adjacent lawn for free.
