The Seeblätter was a radical newspaper published by Joseph Fickler in Konstanz from 1837 to 1849 .

The newspaper was written by a few editors - including Karl Mathy before 1840 - and had a circulation of around 400–500 copies. It was only during the March Revolution that its circulation was higher and reached around 700 copies.

In the beginning, the newspaper was more in the liberal spectrum, but over time it radicalized itself, mainly under the influence of disputes with the censorship authority, and from the 1840s onwards was one of the most critical newspapers in the Grand Duchy of Baden .

Despite their small circulation, the newspaper and the Mannheimer Journal achieved a political influence due to their radical democratic agitation, which was increased by the popularity of Fickler in the Baden Oberland.
