Leopold Seeh

Leopold Seeh (born June 7, 1873 in Hochspeyer ; † May 9, 1937 ) was a businessman and local researcher who dealt with the history of Hochspeyer.

Leopold Seeh ran a haberdashery shop and was a council member for the German Democratic Party ( DDP) in the Weimar Republic.

As a local researcher, Leopold Seeh wrote a - today lost - manuscript on the history of Hochspeyers. Several articles on historical hikes in the area of ​​Hochspeyer, which he published in the Palatinate People's Newspaper , have survived.

After the National Socialists came to power , the Jew Leopold Seeh ended his engagement as a writer. His descendants emigrated to America.
