The seal fountain is a Grade II listed fountain in the Munich district of Schwabing-West . It was created in 1936 by the sculptor Emil Manz .

The fountain is located in a small park on Viktoriaplatz . It is called Seehundbrunnen (dog seal), but shows the bronze figure of a sea lion, an eared seal, on a bud-like stone base . The water in the fountain is drinking water and is used for refreshment.
