Sefa (born Sefa Vlaarkamp , * thirtieth June 2000 in Alkmaar ) is a Dutch music producer , Frenchcore - and hardcore techno - DJ . He produces music under the label Frenchcore Worldwide Recordings, Frenchcore Worldwide. He played at festivals like Vive la Frenchcore , Dominator , Defqon.1 and Impaqt .

biography

Sefa Vlaarkamp was born in 2000 in the Dutch city of Alkmaar. At the age of ten he first came into contact with hardcore music via YouTube . He quickly realized that just listening to this music was not enough for him, and he wanted to express his creativity in this music. He locked himself in his room for days with a small laptop to learn how to produce such songs himself.

At the age of eleven he met Dr. Peacock and have been close friends ever since. It was through him that Sefa's passion for Frenchcore was awakened. When he was twelve, Sefa mixed his own Frenchcore tracks. At the age of 14 he released his first tracks under the label "Peacock Records".

He was a member of the group "Peacock in Concert" and played the piano. In 2019 he decided to focus on his solo career and officially announced his retirement from the "Peacock in Concert" group.

style

In interviews, Sefa states that his style of music is primarily shaped by classical music, which he likes to listen to privately.

At the Dominator Festival in 2018, the rush on the floor where Sefa hung up was so great that the security forces had to cordon off the beach area.
