Michael Bardon

Michael Bardon (* 1986 ) is an Irish jazz and improvisation musician ( double bass , also electric bass ).

Live and act

Bardon moved to Leeds in 2007 to study jazz at Leeds College of Music ; In 2010 he obtained his bachelor's degree with distinction. Since then he has worked in various musical fields, such as in the formations Shatner's Bassoon, Tipping Point , Sean Noonan's Pavees Dance , in the trio Hession / DeBezenac / Bardon, Craig Scott's Lobotomy, Dave Kane's Rabbit Project Orchestra, in the quintet of Nat Birchall and in Ben Cottrells group New Seeing . In the United Kingdom and continental Europe he has performed in venues and festivals such as the Haldern Pop Festival , the Sant'Anna Arresi Jazz Festival in Sardinia, Experimenta Festival (Bari), Locomotive Jazz Fest (Puglia), the Jazz Od Nowa Festival (Toruń) , the Manchester Jazz Festival , in London at Cafe Oto , The Vortex and Club Integral. Since 2016 he has also played in a trio with Hans Peter Hiby and Paul Hession .
