The Langenfeld glider airfield is a glider airfield in Langenfeld-Wiescheid, in the area of the city of Langenfeld in North Rhine-Westphalia, west of Solingen . It is a glider airfield with powered flight . It starts with a winch .
history
The site was acquired in 1975 in order to move the former glider airfield close to the city there. In 1981 the airfield was opened.

Regular events
The airport festival takes place at the beginning of September every year. In 2018 it was carried out for the 38th time. In addition to a general fair, the airfield festival also includes model flight performances, aerobatics , flights with vintage aircraft and balloon rides .
