The Trappist monastery Boschi has been an Italian monastery in Monastero di Vasco , province of Cuneo , diocese of Mondovì since 1996 .

history

In search of a new way of life, three monks of the Roman monastery Tre Fontane founded the hermitage Madonna di Boschi ("Maria Wald") in 1972 in the forest near Vicoforte , which was first an annex of Tre Fontane, then of the monastery of Tamié and finally in 1996 to the priory Madonna dell'Unione di Boschi ("Maria Waldgemeinschaft") was raised (Immediatoberer: Kloster Tamié).
