Sehestedt or Sehested is the family name of the following people from the Schleswig-Holstein noble family von Sehestedt and the North Jutland noble family Sehested. The Danish family took the name Sehested because of the similarity of the coat of arms:

  • Alexander Sehestedt (also: Alexander von Sehested; † 1617), German nobleman, lord of Gut Güldenstein and monastery provost of Uetersen
  • Christian Thomesen Sehested (also: Christen Thomesen Sehested, Christian Thomesen von Sehestedt; 1664–1736), Danish admiral and Oberlanddrost in Oldenburg
  • Johann Friedrich Sehestedt († 1785), Danish lieutenant general
