Aschbach cable car

The Aschbach cable car is a cabin cable car on Nördersberg in Vinschgau in South Tyrol . It leads from the valley station in Saring at 525  m ( Partschins municipality ) to the 1342  m high mountain station in Aschbach ( Algund municipality ). It overcomes a difference in altitude of 817 meters. The mountain station has proven itself as a starting point for hikes.

In 2013 the lift was modernized, the valley station was renewed, the mountain station was rebuilt and new cabins were acquired.

The train runs from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. in summer.
