Nördersberg or Nörderberg ( Italian Montetramontana ) is the name of the south-facing and therefore north-facing valley flank of the Etsch Valley in Vinschgau in South Tyrol .

It stretches for more than 40 kilometers from Prad in the west to the Töll in the east. Opposite it is the Sonnenberg , the north-facing valley flank of the Vinschgau.

In contrast to the very sunny, very dry and in many places stepped Sonnenberg, the slopes of the Nördersberg are shady and densely forested. The middle mountain slopes are also populated with significantly more mountain farms. In winter, the snow line is also much lower on this side of the valley than on the northern side of the valley.

The Nördersberg is part of the Ortler Alps and is largely protected in the Stilfserjoch National Park . Along its entire length it is only interrupted by two larger valleys, the Lasa Valley and the Martell Valley .

In Laas and Göflan on Nördersberg the world-famous is Laas marble mined. The districts of Tarnell with the listed chapel St. Ulrich and Parnetz with the Marienkapelle also belong to Laas
