Göflan ( Italian Covelano ) is a fraction with 595 inhabitants (2005) of the municipality Silandro in Vinschgau in South Tyrol ( Italy ).

Göflan is located in the valley floor of the Adige Valley south of the main town of Silandro. The village extends on both sides of the Adige , over which the new railway bridge of the Vinschgau Railway also leads. Not far south of the village center rise the slopes of the Nördersberg , which are already part of the Stilfserjoch National Park .

At 2186 m above sea level on the Nördersberg there is also the Göflaner Marmorbruch, which can be reached from Haslhof via the Göflaner Alm on hiking trails and by bike. For a long time, Göflaner marble was sold all over the world as Lasa marble . The marble was transported away via a globally unique material inclined railway together with the Lasa marble to Laas , but initially it will be brought into the valley by truck over a forest path via Göflan and then processed further in the municipality of Schlanders. Around 100 workers used to work here, today there are six. Worth seeing in Göflan are the Martinskirche with its winged altars from the 15th century and the Walpurgiskirche (chapel of the dead) with late Gothic elements.

Customs are highly valued in Göflan, so there is a rifle company and a volunteer fire brigade . The name day of the patron saint of the church, St. Martin, is celebrated on November 11th in the whole village, the school and kindergarten are closed on this day.
