The valley station is on the outskirts of Blida in the immediate vicinity of the football stadium. From there the cable car goes to the Beni Ali middle station at a height of more than 900 m, which is designed as an angular station. The mountain station is a little below the village on a ski slope. The trip offers a wide view over Blida and the Mitidja valley, with good visibility as far as the Mediterranean. There is a chair lift near the mountain station.

The cable car is 7.15 km long, making it one of the longest monocable gondolas in the world. She has 138 cabins with 6 seats each. While the old train had yellow cabins, the new cabins are blue and have a yellow roof. The cabins travel at a speed of 5 m / s (18 km / h) over 68 cable car supports . This enables the railway to transport 900 people per hour.
