Aurelio Chiesa

Aurelio Chiesa (born April 24, 1947 in Cesena ) is an Italian film director and screenwriter .

Life

Chiesa graduated in philosophy and started working in film as a volunteer for u. a. Pier Paolo Pasolini and Miklós Jancsó . In the 1970s activities for theater and television followed ( Il palazzo delle delizie ); In 1980 he directed a film for the first time (based on his own script ). In 1987 the science fiction film Luci lontane followed. The following year he wrote a screenplay for Enrico Oldoini .
