Enrico Oldoini

Enrico Oldoini (born May 4, 1946 in La Spezia ) is an Italian screenwriter and film director .

Life

Oldoini attended the Accademia d'Arte Drammatica since 1966 , but without leaving it with a degree. From 1972 he worked as an assistant director and occasional actor; two years later he contributed to the script of the television series Vivere insieme . He then succeeded as a sought-after scriptwriter for comedies for actors such as Adriano Celentano and Carlo Verdone , for whom he also worked as a director behind the camera from 1984. Most of his films have been box office hits; Oldoini repeatedly worked for the screen, where he continued his success story in the 1990s and 2000s with films such as Dio vedo e provvede and mini-series such as Don Matteo .
