Seishun 18 Kippu
Seishun 18 Kippu ( Japanese : 青春 18 き っ ぷ , Eng. "Youth 18 Ticket") is a special ticket of the Japanese railway companies of the Japan Railways Group.
The ticket enables nationwide journeys on regional trains. It was originally planned as an offer primarily for students , but there are no age limits and no discounts for children. You can use the ticket within five fixed periods, which are based on the non-teaching times at the universities: the spring break from March 1st to April 10th, the summer break from July 20th to September 10th and the winter break from December 10th until January 10th.
