Secondary drive

As a secondary drive (rarely secondary drive ) is defined as the power transmission between transmission and rear wheel in motorcycles . The transmission options for motorcycles are predominantly the chain , less the cardan shaft and rarely the toothed belt . The gear ratio ( ) is between 1.5 and 3.5.
