Selçuk Şekerci (born May 19, 1984 in Istanbul ) is a Turkish beach volleyball player .
Career
Şekerci formed a duo with Volkan Göğtepe from 2010 to 2012 . After a few top places in satellite tournaments, the two Turks competed at the European Championship in Berlin . There they were eliminated after the preliminary round because of the lost direct comparison with the Latvians placed before them. After completing various Grand Slams in 2011, they did not get past the preliminary round at the European Championships in Kristiansand in August . In 2013 and early 2014, Şekerci played with Murat Giginoğlu and since late 2014 with Hasan Hüseyin Mermer .
