Murat Giginoğlu (born October 15, 1987 in Sinop ) is a Turkish beach volleyball player .
Career
Giginoğlu formed a duo with Engin Özbek in 2010 and, in addition to various satellite tournaments, also played his first open tournaments. From the end of 2010 until the Shanghai Open 2011 he competed with Hakan Göğtepe . He then got together with his current partner Nuri Şahin . In August, the two Turks did not get past the preliminary round at the European Championships in Kristiansand . A year later he played again with Hakan Göğtepe at the European Championships in Scheveningen . With two sets won, the reunited duo was eliminated from the bottom of the group. In 2013 and 2014, Engin Özbek was again Giginoğlu's partner. With Volkan Göğtepe , Giginoğlu made it to the top of the world at the end of 2014 and the beginning of 2015: At the Sao Paulo Grand Slam they finished fifth and at the Luzern Open they were the first Turkish team ever to climb onto the podium at the FIVB World Tour .
